About Us

Austin Love Ministries’ mission is to teach the Word of God in an easy to understand way so that people of all cultures, ages, and backgrounds can come to the full knowledge of Christ. Our prayer is to reach the lost with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to lead the lost into His kingdom to worship Him. Our Sunday service contains wonderful praise and worship to usher in the Holy Spirit, and the Word is always delivered in a sincere, practical manner led by the Holy Spirit. Bible study is very interactive so that everyone has a chance to learn and really become more knowledgeable about the Word of God.

Identities and Beliefs

The primary goal of Austin Love Ministries is to preach the Word of God in an easy to understand way so that people of all ages, cultures and backgrounds are able to come to the full knowledge and acceptance of Jesus Christ through the preaching of the Word. We believe Romans 10:17 that says “faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.”

Austin Love Ministries takes a strong stand on the Word of God, believing that only Jesus Christ can truly save, heal and deliver. We truly embrace I Corinthians 13 and make every effort to apply it to our daily lives. For we know that “GOD IS LOVE AND LOVE NEVER FAILS.”

ALM is committed to reaching out to the lost with the love of Jesus Christ. God’s wonderful power and anointing to save, heal and deliver is available to everyone!

Where We Began

Love Ministries began as a home Bible study in July, 2004 as pastor, James Cunningham, Jr. answered God’s call for him to preach. The home Bible Study included wonderful praise and worship to usher in the Holy Spirit, and the Word is always delivered in a sincere, practical manner led by the Holy Spirit. As the group continued to grow, the Lord made known His desire for the home Bible study to expand to Sunday mornings and actually become a church. After just two Sunday services, the Lord made it possible to move out of the living room into a meeting room in a local hotel. The same anointing of God that was on the home Bible study continues with Love Ministries in our new meeting place.
